Several middle school students pitched in to give the holiday season a warm welcome. As part of today's PBIS and ROAR celebration, some students chose to help make blankets. These blankets however are not for the students that made them, but instead will be donated to South Side Mission to spread warmth to people less fortunate.
These types of public service projects have become a regular fixture in behavior and academic celebrations over the past few years. Students who completed their assignments regularly over the last month were eligible to celebrate in many ways. Making blankets was one way to not only celebrate personal achievement, but also help others at the same time.
Congratulations to all students on their exceptional work and willingness to help others!
